Individuals

Individual Therapy

What I hear most often from people seeking help in therapy
is that they feel “off” but don’t know how or why;
relationships aren’t working; work is unsatisfying or
difficult to find; life lacks enthusiasm and meaning.
They find themselves soothing the pain with food,
substances, or pornography.
Depression grips them without any reason.
They have uncontrollable bouts of anger, or panic.

Renewal

From my perspective, suffering originates from being separate from one’s true nature and losing the recognition of what is most authentic within. I focus on assisting you to restore and renew this connection so you can:

  • Find self-acceptance, especially the idiosyncrasies that make you unique
  • Host an attitude of patience with difficult thoughts, emotions, and sensations
  • Learn how to listen for the inner voice of meaning & direction
  • Develop a relationship with the unconscious and see it as a source of creativity
  • Have greater discernment in creating and maintaining boundaries with others
  • Approach challenges with a greater degree of courage
  • Recognize other people’s individuality and relate to it with compassion and empathy
  • Employ the imagination to awaken spontaneity
  • Learn how to be a good friend to yourself
